Our High Strength S-Glass Fiber Yarn is specifically designed to meet the needs of military applications. Made from the magnesium alumino silicate glass system, this high strength glass fiber offers superior performance compared to E Glass fiber.
With 30-40% higher tensile strength and 16-20% higher modulus of elasticity, our S-Glass Fiber Yarn provides exceptional durability. It also boasts 10 times higher fatigue resistance and can endure temperatures 100-150 degrees higher than E Glass fiber. Additionally, its high elongation to break ensures excellent impact resistance.
Our S-Glass Fiber Yarn is also known for its high ageing and corrosion resistance, as well as its quick resin wet-out properties. These qualities make it an ideal choice for marine and aerospace applications.
