Our S-Glass Fiber Assembled Rovings are specifically designed to meet the high-strength requirements of military applications.these high-strength glass fibers are made from the magnesium alumino silicate glass system.
Compared to E Glass fiber, our S-Glass fibers offer significant advantages. They exhibit 30-40% higher tensile strength and 16-20% higher modulus of elasticity. Additionally, they have 10 times higher fatigue resistance and can endure temperatures 100-150 degrees higher. These fibers also boast excellent impact resistance due to their high elongation to break, as well as high aging and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, they have quick resin wet-out properties.
S-Glass Fiber Assembled Rovings for Aerospace and Marine are ideal for industries requiring high tensile strength and a higher modulus of elasticity compared to e-glass.
