2. Micro Square Hole Grating
This series includes 13 specifications characterized by smaller grid dimensions. This design typically addresses specific safety requirements, such as preventing small tools, parts, or other fine objects from falling through the grating openings. Additionally, in commercial or residential buildings, the micro-perforated design prevents fine-heeled footwear like stilettos from becoming lodged in the grating, enhancing pedestrian safety and making it a preferred choice for commercial walkways or landscape platforms.
3. Standard Rectangular Hole Grating
This series offers 10 specifications featuring rectangular openings. Cutting and Installation



BEIHAI® FRP Grating
BEIHAI® FRP grating is lightweight and high-strength, allowing for cutting without disintegration or alteration of its mechanical properties. Grating panels can be easily cut or perforated using handheld diamond-tipped cutters or standard steel saw blades. Drilling holes in grating is also feasible with electric drills, though turning or tapping operations are not permitted. To minimize cutting waste, conduct a thorough analysis of on-site dimensions and grating specifications prior to cutting to ensure maximum cost efficiency.
Each edge of the grating must be supported by at least 40mm of bearing surface. When grating panels serve as trench covers, no fixing clamps are required since trenches typically feature a stop edge. However, when used as structural walkways, each grating panel must employ at least four fixing clamps, and the bottom of the grating-to-grating connection must be supported by secondary beams.


Three standard clamp types are used for securing grating to frames and connecting grating panels. All clamps are available in stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized finishes.
