E-glass Assembled roving for gypsum
Gypsum assembled roving is specially designed to reinforce for gypsum. It is chopped into a specific length, then mixed with gypsum, starch powder and accelerating agent to form a light weight construction boards.
Roving is made by aggregating bundles of monofilaments parallel to each other. The roving can be divided into two types, alkali-free and medium alkali, which are mainly differentiated according to the glass composition. In order to produce qualified glass roving, the diameter of glass fiber used should be between 12~23μm. Due to its characteristics, it can be directly used in the molding of some composite materials, such as in the winding and pultrusion process have a wide range of applications. It can also be woven into untwisted roving fabrics, mainly due to its very uniform tension. In addition, twisted roving can be used in a wide range of applications after short cutting.
